Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act are not eligible. |

How to Apply
- Register on the National Apprenticeship Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and obtain a unique Registration Number.
- Complete Aadhaar e-KYC verification using the same email ID and mobile number used for registration.
- Open the IGCAR trade apprentice application portal and log in.
- Fill the online application form with personal, ITI and category details.
- Upload the required documents (Class 8/10 mark sheet, ITI trade certificate with mark sheets, category certificate if applicable) as a single PDF.
- Apply for only one trade, since applying to multiple trades is not permitted.
- Submit the form before the closing date and take a printout for personal records.
- No corrections are allowed after final submission, so verify all details before submitting.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the ITI course
- Tie-breaking first by higher Class 10 (or Class 8) marks, then by older date of birth
- Document Verification of shortlisted candidates
- Standard medical examination
