- Visit the Career Opportunities page on bfsissc.com or beep.bfsissc.com.
- NATS-registered candidates should log in at nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php and apply under 'Apply against advertised vacancies' for Indian Overseas Bank.
- NAPS-registered candidates should go to apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/apprenticeship/opportunity, search for 'Indian Overseas Bank', click 'View', and then 'Apply for this Opportunity'.
- Enter the NATS/NAPS enrolment number while filling the online application form.
- Apply for engagement from only one State/UT, preferably the candidate's home State/UT.
- Pay the application fee/intimation charges online through the BEEP portal within the payment window.
- Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn, and no other mode of application or fee payment is accepted.

Total duration of the exam is 90 minutes, conducted online via the candidate's own camera-enabled device. A minimum aggregate percentage decided by the Bank must be scored, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates; there is no minimum qualifying mark per section.

- Printout of the valid communication for personal interaction/reporting
- Printout of the email from BFSI SSC containing submitted application data
- Proof of date of birth (birth certificate or SSLC/Std. X certificate with DOB)
- Photo identity proof such as Passport, Aadhaar/e-Aadhaar, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Voter's Card
- Consolidated mark sheets and relevant educational qualification certificates
- Caste certificate in the prescribed format for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates
- Non-creamy layer OBC certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026, where applicable
- Disability certificate in the prescribed format for PwBD candidates
- Any other document supporting eligibility
Important Instructions
- Candidates should not have undergone apprenticeship earlier with IOB or any other organisation, or been terminated from apprenticeship training due to their own fault.
- Candidates with one year or more of training or job experience after completing the qualifying degree are not eligible.
- Apprentices are not treated as 'employees' of the Bank and are not entitled to regular employee benefits.
- Apprentices get one day of casual leave per month (12 days a year), with a maximum of 4 days at a time.
- Ex-servicemen or Disabled Ex-servicemen are not engaged as apprentices, and there is no reservation for them in this process.
- The Bank is under no obligation to offer regular employment during or after the apprenticeship period.
- A state-category-wise waitlist is maintained for one year from the result date or the next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier.
- Any dispute is subject to the sole jurisdiction of courts situated at Chennai.
