Post-wise Eligibility and Experience
- Principal Scientific/Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc./MCA in a relevant field (Metallurgical & Materials Engineering/Material Sciences/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Physics/Biotechnology for the Research stream, or Computer Science/Information Technology for the ICT stream) with first class or equivalent grade and a strong academic record. Requires at least 15 years' experience as Scientific/Technical Officer or equivalent, including at least 8 years as Senior Scientific/Technical Officer (PB-3, GP Rs. 7,600/-) or equivalent in a Central/State Government Department, Autonomous Body, University, institution of national importance, or PSU.
- Principal Students Activity and Sports (SAS) Officer: Master's Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) and a good academic record. Should have represented at inter-university/inter-collegiate/state/national level, qualified the UGC-approved national-level test, and passed the physical fitness test. Requires holding an analogous post, or at least 15 years' service as SAS Officer or equivalent, including 3 years as Senior SAS Officer (PB-4, GP Rs. 8,700/- or AGP Rs. 9,000/-).
- Senior Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology, or MCA, with first class or equivalent grade and a strong academic record. Requires holding an analogous post, or 10 years' experience in Science/Technology/Research at Technical Officer level or equivalent (PB-3, Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- or Rs. 6,600/- or equivalent) in Central/State Government, institutions of national importance, universities, or PSUs.
- Assistant Registrar: Master's Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) and a good academic record from a recognized university/institute. Candidates from Central/State Government, institutions of national importance, universities, government laboratories, or PSUs holding an analogous post are eligible.
