- Upload a live photo captured via webcam at the time of application; OTP-based photo verification is mandatory.
- Select the preferred exam centre and, if applicable, opt for the Scribe facility.
- Preview the filled application carefully before final submission.
- Submit the form and save/print the confirmation for future reference.
- Note: The application is considered incomplete unless a valid Application Number/ID is generated after submission.
Selection Process
- Written competitive examination (Objective/MCQ type) on the concerned subject
- Final merit prepared on the basis of marks scored, subject to eligibility verification and document scrutiny

Key Exam Rules
- Each question carries five options (1 to 5); candidates must darken only one circle using a blue ball point pen.
- Marking option '5' is compulsory if a candidate chooses not to attempt a question.
- If none of the five circles is darkened, one-third (1/3) of the marks for that question will be deducted.
- Negative marking of 1/3 applies for every wrong answer.
- Candidates who fail to darken any circle in more than 10% of the questions will be disqualified.
- An extra 10 minutes beyond the scheduled time is provided for darkening the OMR sheet.
- The detailed syllabus will be released separately by the Commission before the exam.
Application Correction Window
Candidates who need to correct any submitted detail can use RPSC's online correction facility within 10 days from the application last date, on payment of a correction fee of Rs. 500/-.
